Swiatek's baseline quality is still enough against Kostyuk

Roland-Garros has already confirmed Sunday's fourth-round opener on Philippe-Chatrier, and this is the kind of spot where the simple angle is usually the right one. Iga Swiatek against Marta Kostyuk is a real step up in resistance, but it still points most cleanly toward Swiatek in the outright market.

The main reason is not mystery or hype. On Paris clay, Swiatek still owns the more repeatable baseline pattern over long stretches. She can win points without forcing low-percentage risks, and that matters against a player like Kostyuk who is dangerous when she gets to play on instinct and strike early through the court.

Kostyuk has enough pace and competitive edge to make sections of the match awkward, especially if she finds first-strike returns or gets Swiatek defending on the backhand wing. Even so, over a full clay match on the main court, Swiatek's heavier rally ball and better control of tempo remain the stronger foundation. The outright win is the cleanest call.
